Before you can book your practical driving test you must pass the DSA theory test. This is a computerised touch screen test taken at your local theory test centre. There are two parts to the test, 50 multiple choice questions followed by the hazard perception test.

The hazard perception test features 14 video clips of real driving situations. Each clip contains a developing hazard which you must identify and react to by clicking the mouse button.
